Description

Seafront building plots of approx. 4458 m2, located on the slope of the coastal hills north-east of Plaka, Elounda.

A house or houses of up to 209 m2 plus 209 m2 of basements can be built on this land.

Power, water and phone lines with broadband internet are not far from this land and easy to connect.

A dirt road leads to the coastal village of Plaka.

Plaka and the nearest beach is 2.3 km away from this plot.
The elite tourist resort Elounda is approx. 7 km away.
The province capital Agios Nikolaos is a 20 minutes drive from here.

Plaka is an old fishing village which is now a popular tourist destination. Opposite Plaka is the historical isle of Spinalonga with its old Venetian fortress, a UNESCO preserved monument.

There are many restaurants and shops in the coastal village. The white pebbly beach has crystal clear waters and is considered the best in the Elounda area.

Elounda was a small fishing town on the Mirabello Bay, on the island of Crete. Although fishing is still a large part of life in this very picturesque area, tourism has taken over as the main industry of Elounda. It is part of the municipality Agios Nikolaos. It is popular with European tourists and has many hotels including several 5*hotels. Elounda is also the closest major town to the former leper colony of Spinalonga. The town is a 10 minute drive to Agios Nikolaos and the village of Plaka (Lasithi).

Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the county Lasithi and is located at the Mirabello Bay, north-east Crete, only 45 mins away from the international airport of Heraklion.
